The Instant Value Section (IVS)

(aren't you glad you opened the email now?)

Stop Returns. Block the Badge. Bank the Rebuy.

A big thank you to my friend Charles Chakkalo for sharing this edition’s IVS. Charles is an American 7-figure PL seller who runs his own team & warehouse. He seems to be popping up everywhere these days! He also just launched his new newsletter. Check it out, here (launching June 1).

If you’ve ever had your product hit with the “Frequently Returned” label, you know it’s a sales death sentence. Visibility drops. Conversions tank. You lose trust you may never get back.

Here’s how I avoid it — and get 10% back on every rebuy:

Use Amazon’s Product Lifecycle Support (PLS) program. It replaces the default “Return Product” button with “Get Product Support,” which leads customers to a support site you control.

You can:

  • Walk them through a fix

  • Offer a returnless refund

  • Send them a repurchase link (with attribution = 10% back)

No return. No warehouse cost. No label.

Just a controlled customer experience and more margin.

PLS Enrollment Instructions here.

Every week Max does ASIN Audits for the community. Want your ASIN audited?

No strings.
Just value.

Comment ‘AUDIT’ on this post and he’ll be in touch.

🎙️ The Podcast Is Coming Back!

Did you know we had a podcast? Yep… emphasis on had since it’s been a minute since I did one lol. But I loved making it, and with all the improvements in podcast tech over the past few months, it feels like the perfect time to bring it back and crush it.

I’m relaunching the Selling From the Beach podcast and I’m looking for great guests.

Here’s the deal: I get a bunch of pitches every week (usually from a VA with a generic script or just telling me how it would be an honor to interview this person on my show….), and honestly, most of them don’t make the cut. Each episode takes time and money to produce, so we’re focused on delivering real value here no fluff, no pitch-fests. Listeners can look at your linked in to see where you went to school, so I’m not wasting time on that.

This time around, each guest episode will include:

  • 🔍 A Deep Dive into something you’ve mastered

  • 🏝️ A bit of Fun/Lifestyle (no i don’t care about your ½ marathon training but something good)

  • 💡 A Steal This Strategy segment with something our audience can put into action right away

If that sounds like you or someone you know click here to apply.

And if you’ve got feedback or ideas for topics you’d love to hear on the show or good features others do, hit reply and let me know. Let’s make this relaunch awesome.

Time for a break @ the beach

Every Hack in Jordi Ordonez’ Newsletter In the last 2 Years

Some good ones in here..

Jordi Ordonez writes an awesome newsletter called Marketplace⚡Mastery which shares relevant news, hacks and software for Amazon Sellers and Vendors (every week).

I just came across his “Hack Bible” which has 21 pages of hacks from his newsletter from the last two years.

I suggest you grab it.

Walmart now allows MCF

Walmart famously disallowed MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) for Amazon shipments. They are now opening it up, which will be huge for them (and for you).

How to do it:

1) Cross-list your stuff on Walmart. Use software like Listing Mirror or do it manually. Then, when an order comes in, fulfill with MCF.
2) Make sure to choose unbranded boxes.
3) Make sure to block Amazon logistics.

Congrats. You just added revenue to your topline :)

The Amazon Ad Library

If I made a search engine with all 2,741,736 Sponsored Brands ads ever made, everyone would want it.

Lucky for you, it already exists.
(and it’s a good thing too, because I have no idea how to code)

  • Meta has one

  • Google has one

  • and now, Amazon has one (although it isnt run by Amazon).

Travel Security w/ a VPN

If you’re in a country that isn’t your own - use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) so that you can access all your stuff (Netflix, etc.) and also digitally stay safe abroad.

When you travel, you're often using public Wi-Fi in airports, hotels, cafes, etc. These networks aren't always secure, which makes it easier for hackers to intercept your data. A VPN protects your connection by encrypting your internet traffic. This keeps your personal information, passwords, and browsing history safe from anyone trying to snoop.

A VPN also helps you get around regional restrictions. If you're in another country and can't access your usual apps, websites, or streaming services, a VPN lets you connect as if you're back home. It's a simple way to keep your digital life running smoothly and securely.

Dumb Traffic in Paridise

In our community, there’s a part of the admin team that seems obsessed with justifying their existence by adding speed bumps and warning signs everywhere. The issue? Whoever is designing this stuff… isn’t smart. And when residents push back, the response is usually to double down and defend it (though once in a while they backtrack).

Here are a few examples from the past year. Clockwise from the upper left:

  • This sidewalk was squeezed in where there wasn’t really room, so they just made it extra skinny.

  • I have no idea what this thing is. I think it’s meant to stop people from driving off the bridge, since there’s no guardrail. But if you hit it, those concrete planters are going to do serious damage to your car. Oh, and they just painted it last week like that somehow fixes it (maybe people kept hitting it?)

  • Then there’s the stop sign situation. They put stop signs after roundabouts. At one point, they even had stop signs inside the roundabout. For anyone who doesn't know: the whole point of a roundabout is to avoid stopping! They eventually swapped a few out for yield signs… which are shaped like stop signs. Go figure.

  • Finally, they installed these massive cement speed tables. One of the residents (an engineer) measured them and argued they were too high, even citing building codes. Of course, management didn’t listen. Then a bus and a few other vehicles ripped their oil pans off. Only then did they go, “Hmm, maybe we need to redo this.”

Stuff like this? You just have to laugh and say pura vida.

Workers Able to Speak English (until there’s a problem)

Yup, this happened just yesterday. We’re ordering lunch, doing our best in Spanish. (Mine’s not great, but I can get by, and the kids are actually pretty solid.) The waiter is repeating everything back, throwing in some English here and there. No problem. I get it my Spanish isn’t perfect, but at least I’m trying.

Marsha double-checks: “The tuna sliders are seared, right?”
“Yes, yes,” he says.
She even asks a second time to confirm. Still: “Yes, yes.”

Food comes out. “How is it?” he asks.
“Well... you said this tuna was seared. It’s definitely not.”

He just nods, up and down. We repeat ourselves. He keeps nodding… LOL but now with that blank look, like he suddenly doesn’t understand a single word we’re saying, and then walks away.

This is the move. The second there’s a complaint or issue? Suddenly, no comprehension. Just smile, nod, and wait us out until we give up.

So that’s the moment: do I push for a manager or just drop it?
In this case, Marsha was starving. She ate it. We let it go.

Then, as a family, we went back to watching the waves crash, trying to spot the sandal that got swept away from the guy sitting next to us…

There’s no shortage of remarkable ideas, what’s missing is the will to execute them.

Answer to Tropical Trivia: True. Amazon’s “Amazon Custom” feature is a program that lets sellers add a “Customize now” option so buyers can submit text, images or selections for personalized products.
